This well-connected resort shares its extensive slopes with the Portes du Soleil ski area in the French and Swiss Alps. With many active ski schools, 49 pistes and 41 ski lifts, there is plenty for skiers of all abilities to get stuck into.

With around 650km of pistes to explore, intermediate skiers will be spoilt for choice here. A whopping 41% of runs in Chatel are suitable for intermediates! Keen to test how fast you can go? One of our favourite runs in Chatel is the ‘Smoothpark’ near the Bellevue blue piste. With safety nets aplenty, you can really pick up speed without the fear of broken bones!
